High Tea Cruise Amsterdam Prices and Options
The standard High Tea Cruise lasts 2 hours and starts from €430 for the private boat. Your High Tea selection is then added per guest. A 1.5-hour cruise may also be possible on request.
Casual Afternoon Tea
Provided by Restaurant RED, this option combines sweet and savory High Tea bites with unlimited tea and coffee. Can be prepared vegetarian on request.
Amstel Fine High Tea
A more elaborate Afternoon Tea experience from Amstel Hotel featuring seasonal savory dishes, sweets, scones and carefully selected tea pairings. Available vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free on request.
Optional Drinks: One non-alcoholic welcome drink per guest is included with the boat cruise. Additional drinks can be ordered from the onboard minibar, or you can upgrade your experience with Prosecco or Champagne, including Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart or Dom Pérignon.

Restaurant RED is located on Amsterdam's Keizersgracht and is known for its dining and hospitality, particularly its tournedos, lobster, Champagne and wine selection. Its High Tea offering includes a selection of filled sandwiches and savory bites alongside sweet treats. The exact assortment can vary depending on availability and dietary requirements.

Your captain will guide you through Amsterdam's historic canal network while you enjoy your High Tea. The exact route depends on canal traffic, cruise duration and your preferences.
A typical private cruise can include sections of the Canal Ring, the Jordaan, the Amstel River and some of Amsterdam's best-known bridges and canal houses. Because the boat is private, your captain can adapt the route where conditions allow.

The standard meeting point is at Oosterdokskade 8 near Amsterdam Central Station, beside the Sea Palace restaurant. The location is within walking distance of Central Station.

For larger groups or occasions where additional table service is preferred, an extra host can be arranged. Groups of more than six guests currently require an additional host so the food and drinks can be served comfortably throughout the cruise.

The Amstel Fine High Tea can be prepared vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free on request. The Restaurant RED High Tea can be prepared vegetarian. A fully vegan High Tea can also be arranged through selected local partners, including Margos and Spirit.
Vegan selections may include plant-based sandwiches, croissants, mini cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Vegan-friendly drinks are also available onboard, as all our onboard drinks are free from animal-derived filtering agents.
